Evolution Book Review
For a few weeks, we read a book on evolution, and why it occurs, or the history of evolution. My book was titled Why Evolution Is True, by Jerry A. Coyne, who is a university professor on evolutionary sciences and the origin of new species.
Review
This book was very interesting- Coyne is arguing that evolution is true (just like in his title), and throughout the book he gives evidence why it is true and that it is still occurring.
Throughout the book, Coyne describes the basic facts of Darwin's theory of evolution, such as facts written in fossils, what causes evolution, how sex drives evolution, and what evolutionary scientists are studying and want to learn about more.
The book is very easy to understand, with a few big words. It is also explained very well, so everything makes sense.
There are also a lot of visual presentations and pictures in the book, so it gives you a visual picture of what he's talking about.
All in all, this was a very good book.
