FROG DISSECTION
The frog is also a part of the phylum chordata, just like the fish. They are a part of the class of amphibians, so they are developed to also go on land as well as in the water. They are as developed as the perch, with the addition of legs to move freely, along with complicated muscle systems in their legs. Frogs have a respiratory system all over their skin, and use a gas exchange to directly absorb oxygen from the water. They also have lungs, though they aren't used as much. They have a closed circulatory system, and have veins all along their body. They have a one way digestive system, along with a nervous system with different sensory organs.
Ecology of Amphibians (Frogs, etc.): Amphibians live in moist conditions, such as rainforests and ponds. Amphibians also developed camouflage, so predators can’t see them. Some amphibians don’t have camouflage, but are brightly colored to show predators that they are poisonous and won’t be pleasant to eat. Like the coral, frog population is declining, because of butthole people that care about themselves and not about the environment. Hopefully they realize that because of them, we could die because they are destroying the world.
Subgroups of Amphibians: The three groups of amphibians that live today are salamanders (order urodela), frogs and toads (anura), and caecilians (apoda). Salamanders have long bodies and tails. Frogs and toads have long legs to jump. Caecilians are legless animals that eat small invertebrates and live in moist areas.
