Evolution Unit Reflection
We have just finished our evolution unit in our STEM biology class. Below is my reflection.
1.) What did you learn most in this unit? Why?
Our class learned mostly about how people and other organisms and beings evolved in life. We also learned about Darwin and how his theory of natural selection came about. We also watched several videos about evolution, and took several notes on a power point.
We learned this because it was a part of our curriculum.
2.) What connections did you make to family heritage, as well as evolutionary history?
That genetics are a big part of evolutionary history, and they shaped who we are and what we are today. Genetics also effect other organisms in the same way.
3.)What did you enjoy most about this unit?
I enjoyed making our transitional species model; it was very hands on and interactive. We got to make videos and show them to the class. It was really fun.
